• Certification Details
• ACLS - Required based on unit/specialty. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
• BLS - Basic Life Support - Required based on unit/specialty. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
• PALS - Required based on unit/specialty. Must be AHA (RQI acceptable).
• Tech Cert Verification - National - Primary Source Verification required.
• State License 1 Verification - Primary Source Verification required.
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement required.

  • Position / Specialty: Radiation Oncology RN
  • Avg. Daily Census: 30
  • Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required.
  • First-timers accepted: Yes
  • Weekend REQ: Will work weekends per dept need.
  • Is on-call REQ? No.
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
  • Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
  • Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
  • Active IL license required or must have active application in process with ETA to apply.
  • RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
  • Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
  • Special Requirements: Required Care of Patient With various cancer types. Ability to Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values required. Experience/skills with Starting IVs required. Required Medication Skills/Experience with Antiemetic, Antibiotic, Corticosteroids. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills with colostomy care and management, Foley catheter insertion/management, and more. Required Symptom management Skills/Experience with alteration in skin and mucous membranes, altered mental status, and more. Post surgical care experience required. EMR experience required.

    • BLS required. OCN preferred.
    • Experience with various cancer types and specific medical skills.
    • Active application in process with ETA to apply for IL license.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Mix of 5x8s and 4x10s (1100-1930 and 0900-1930) - *Schedule will vary based on department and unit needs. Traveler will work 8 or 10hr shifts each week*
      • Will work weekends per department need.
